Chaplow And Wellbeck Return

Preston have confirmed that Richard Chaplow and Danny Wellbeck have recovered in time to make the squad for this Saturday's trip to Plymouth. United youngster Wellbeck has been suffering with a knee injury but after having treatment at United's training ground in Carrington he has been given the all clear to begin playing again. He will at least make the bench with Stephen Elliot now moving to Norwich for the rest of the season on a loan basis. Richard Chaplow has recovered from a groin problem which has persisitently troubled him for the past 18 months. He has had hernia surgery but a couple of weeks ago his groin stiffened up. He could have been in the squad last weekend but was left out as his wife was due to give birth. With Paul Coutts suspended tomorrow Chaplow is in a staright fight with Darren Carter for a midfield starting slot.
