Carter unlikely to make Lions switch
Preston midfielder Darren Carter's proposed six-month loan move to Millwall appears to have broken down.
The 26-year-old, who is on the transfer list at Deepdale, spent last week on trial with the Lions and played in the friendly matches against Exeter and AFC Wimbledon.
But Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has decided to look elsewhere and Carter is now set to return to Preston.
