Carter Set To Seal Deepdale Exit This Week
MIllwall boss Kenny Jackett has confirmed his interest in taking Darren Carter to the New Den. We earlier revealed Millwall's interest in the transfer listed midfielder but sources in south London says Jackett has made contact with Preston over Carter but with boss Ferguson away with the team in Spain no deal could be done until this week. Jackett is set to approach Ferguson on his return to take Carter on a season long loan. This would take Carter off the wage bill and mean that Carter's contract at Deepdale would expire next summer allowing him to leave on a free.
