Captain Ashbee
As Preston announced their squad numbers for next season a new player was given the captain's armband. Billy Jones held the captaincy towards the end of last season but his move to West Brown left a vacancy which needed filling. Phil Brown has appointed Iain Ashbee as the new leader on the field for the season ahead which sees a throwback to their Hull days.
