Burnley Step Up Treacy Interest

09 June 2011 13:24
After having an £850,000 offer rejected by Preston, Eddie Howe is keen to step up his interest in Keith Treacy. Preston are willing to let the winger go and he clearly does not want to stay at the club but there is interest from several parties including Nottingham Forest and Ipswich. It is beleievd an £850,000 offer from Burnley has been rejected with Preston looking for something just over the £1m mark. If they receive something around their valuation then they will have made almost three times as much on Treacy's valuation since his purchase 18 months ago.
