Buchanan was offered a new contract at Tranmere but earlier this week turned down those terms and decided to move to Deepdale on a two year deal. The left sided defender joins former team mate Welsh at Deepdale.

Buchanan Deal Confirmed
As reported earlier in the week on this side Preston have now confirmed that David Buchanan will sign on a free transfer from Tranmere.
