Brown: St Ledger is Premier League quality
Preston defender Wayne Brown has hailed Sean St Ledger as one of the finest players outside of the Barclays Premier League.
Republic of Ireland international St Ledger has previously been linked with big-money moves to Celtic and Middlesbrough, where he had a spell on loan last season.
Brown only joined North End in the summer and has yet to make a competitive appearance due to injury, but he is a confirmed admirer of St Ledger.
He told Press Association Sport: "Ledge is an outstanding player and one of the best defenders in this division.
"With his ability, he's capable of going on to bigger and better things but hopefully he can do that with Preston."
