Brown: Preston on the up
Preston defender Wayne Brown is convinced the club are heading in the right direction ahead of Saturday's crunch trip to Burnley.
North End have endured a dismal start to the season and collected just three points from their opening four npower Championship matches.
Brown, a summer signing from Leicester who has yet to make his competitive debut due to injury, is set to come into contention at Turf Moor.
He told Press Association Sport: "Although we've not had the greatest of starts, we haven't been a million miles away.
"The margins between winning and losing are very fine in this division and we could have scored six or seven goals and had eight or nine points.
"We just have to be ruthless in both boxes and that's what we'll be looking to do at Burnley on Saturday."
