Brown planning capital shock

Preston defender Wayne Brown is hoping his side can provide the big shock in the Championship this weekend by inflicting QPR`s first defeat of the season. The Deepdale outfit are currently at the bottom of the league table and manager Darren Ferguson is under intense pressure as his side go in search of their first win in five games. Brown, 33, told the club`s official website: "Some of the lads have been away on international duty this week so it has been a depleted squad training which doesn`t help. "But the lads have worked hard this week on all aspects of the game. I have personally gone home and looked at the game at things we can do better collectively and as an individual so we are very much geared up and ready to put a few wrongs right on Saturday. "There is no better place to go now than QPR, they are unbeaten so it`s a great incentive to go there and turn them over or get something out of the game. A result would be brilliant and give us a kick-start to the season."
