Brown Meets Cater's Agent
It will become clearer today whether Darren Carter will remain a Preston player for the forthcoming season. Carter's agent is set to meet with Phil Brown today of the midfielder's future at the club. It is thought that he has been offered a new deal but on reduced terms. His current contract expires next week. Preston have a healthy amount of midfield players but it is thought that Russell will be on his way if a suitable offer comes in as his wages are too high whilst Adam Barton may well leave for a higher level of football during the summer.
