Brown makes double capture

Preston have made a double swoop after signing Watford striker Nathan Ellington and Blackburn midfielder Amine Linganzi on loan until the end of the season. Ellington joined the relegation-threatened Lancashire outfit following a successful trial at Deepdale. The much-travelled frontman has spent much of this campaign and a period last season playing in Greece for FC Xanthi, where he scored seven goals in 19 games. Frenchman Linganzi, 21, has made three appearances for Blackburn this season and is rated highly at Ewood Park after signing a three-and-a-half-year deal last January. Ellington and Linganzi will be available for Saturday's home clash with Leicester.
