Brown looks to give Chelsea blues

The Lilywhites' top-scorer has unhappy memories of playing against Chelsea, having featured for Norwich in their 4-0 defeat to the Blues in the competition in 2007.

While Brown is under no illusions about the task ahead he insists Preston can give them a run for their money.

"Their confidence is high, they are scoring goals and they are not conceding too many but it's one of those things where you look at it and you see it as a challenge," Brown told the club's official website.

"This could be a good day. Hopefully we will get a full house and they bring a strong side, whatever they bring it is going to be good but it would be nice to play against their first team.

"But if we don't do our basics right then we will be in trouble. If we can do what we are good at then we will see what happens on the day."
