Brown issues North End challenge

Boss Phil Brown has challenged his Preston players to win their remaining five matches this season and give themselves the best possible chance of maintaining their Championship status. North End are second bottom and seven points adrift of safety after a 1-1 draw at Doncaster. Brown`s side have lost just one of their last six games and the Scot is refusing to give up hope of a great escape. "Five wins, that's where it leaves us, and the next one is the most important," said Brown, whose side host bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United on Saturday. "That one is a massive six-pointer and is the game of the season for us. "I'm putting the pressure on these lads because I think they're playing well under pressure and they are responding under pressure."
