Phil Brown was understandably delighted to see his Preston side gain a third consecutive npower Championship win by beating promotion candidates Swansea 2-1 at Deepdale as the Lilywhites secured another much-needed win they need to clamber out of the relegation places.
Brown felt the respite of the international break worked in his team's favour.
"We only had four internationals away so we had a good amount of time on the training pitch working on tactics," said Brown.
"The beauty of the victory was against one of the best football teams I've played against in the Championship.
"It was a fantastic game of football matched with the desire, work rate and commitment of our team."
