Win has been coming - Cotterill

Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill claimed his side`s 2-0 win at Doncaster was just reward for their performances over the last few weeks. Pompey secured their first victory in 11 games thanks to strikes from Dave Kitson and Joel Ward to move seven points clear of the npower Championship drop zone. Asked whether the win will help his squad improve their performances, he replied: "It hasn't been a recent run of form, it's been a recent run of results. "Our form has been fine. We've played better than that in the last four or five games and not won. "So the performances have been okay. We've had a couple (of bad performances) along the way put predominantly we've been decent from a side that has been slung together every week. "I thought it was an enthusiastic game. It was good to come here and keep a clean sheet. They're a good side."
