We deserved the win, roars James
Goalkeeper David James was delighted Portsmouth had proved people wrong after they overcame Tottenham 2-0 to reach the FA Cup final.[LNB] Pompey, relegated from the Premier League and in administration, were long odds to see off Spurs and book a date against Chelsea.[LNB]But extra-time goals from Frederic Piquionne and Kevin Prince-Boateng, the latter from the penalty spot, saw them through.[LNB]England stopper James told ITV1: "It's superb, we deserved the win. We played very well throughout the team.[LNB]"Look what it means to Pompey, it's fantastic.[LNB]"We were eight- or nine-to-one to win beforehand but we have proved people wrong."
