Ward to keep place
Joel Ward is expected to keep his place in the Portsmouth side which travels to Swansea.
The youngster should continue at left-back in place of Carl Dickinson, who serves the second match of a three-game ban for his recent red card against Doncaster.
Hermann Hreidarsson is another option for manager Steve Cotterill, but the club do not want to risk rushing the fit-again Icelander back from his career-threatening Achilles injury.
Cotterill was unable to add to his squad ahead of the loan deadline so he is likely to name an unchanged side again.
Striker Danny Webber is still recovering from a cruciate injury and young midfielder Matt Ritchie has extended his loan at Swindon until January.
