Full-back Gregory Vignal has admitted he made a mistake in joining
Portsmouth last summer.
The Frenchman had hoped he would be able to put down roots at Fratton Park after spending time on loan in Spain, France and Scotland during his five-year spell at Liverpool.
However, Harry Redknapp's return to Pompey has scuppered Vignal's hopes of a long-term future at the club and he is keen to move on as soon as possible.
"I recognise now it was a mistake coming to Pompey," said the 24-year-old.
"I came with ex-manager Alain Perrin and now I'm not playing because of the new boss.
"I know I'm not in his plans because he told me I could leave in the transfer window."
Vignal has made just one Premiership appearance for Portsmouth since Redknapp took charge in early December, having played 13 times in the early stages of the campaign.
