Peterborough have had a solid season so far. Is relegation a worry for you now? Of course. We're only a few wins ahead of the bottom, and with so many games left it can still change. We have to be aware of that. This league is very topsy turvy and a string of wins can shoot you right up the table, and a string of defeats can throw you right down. Do you have any sympathy for Pompey fans given the current situation our club is in? Of course. It's always the fans that get the rubbish end of the deal so to speak. The club itself has been run poorly for a while (hence all the problems) and the club deserve some punishment, but the fans unfortunately get stuck with that too, despite doing nothing wrong. It's the fans I feel for, not the club. Are there any Portsmouth players that you would like Darren Ferguson to sign during the transfer window? They may all be available shortly... Huseklepp impressed me at Fratton Park earlier in the year so I wouldn't mind him coming here. Especially since he's already opened his Posh scoring account with that late winner, ha! Your team doesn't seem to be the goals galore side that we saw earlier in the season. Why is this? Injuries, really. In recent weeks we've been missing McCann, Frecklington & Boyd whilst having Rowe at left back at some points. Considering when we were scoring for fun, that was our midfield, it's had a massive effect.
They're very creative them four, and we really miss them when they're missing. Luckily, Rowe's back in midfield, McCann returned last week plus Frecklington & Boyd are due back this weekend, so Portsmouth will be the first to face us at full creative strength again. Who has been your most impressive player throughout the campaign so far? Probably Grant McCann. Goals, assists, creativity and set piece master. We lost him over the xmas period and it was a huge, huge blow and has definitely played a part. What weaknesses in this Posh side can Pompey exploit when they come to London Road? A few to be honest. If Joe Lewis is in goal, then whip in a few high balls and they'll either sail straight over him in to the net or he'll spill it somehow.
Get Lee Tomlin angry and you'll reduce us to ten men for the rest of the match as he'll be too busy moaning at officials for the rest of it. What sort of match are you expecting on Saturday? A tough one, for sure. I think the Pompey players will be keen to get a decent result to put the headlines to one side and show they're focussed on the pitch, which makes it more difficult for us. With our main midfield back, it'll be interesting to see if they can continue where they left off. Predict the outcome of the game. Hard to say. I'll go with 2-1 Posh. Gut instinct more than anything else.
