Storrie upset at failed bid

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has revealed his disappointment at being unable to lead his own takeover of the club.[LNB] After weeks of talks, Sulamain Al Fahim finally sealed his takeover of the club on Wednesday morning after exchanging contracts with owner Alexandre Gaydamak.[LNB]Storrie has himself become frustrated with Al Fahim's delays, and organised another consortium - who looked on course to strike a deal.[LNB]But Al Fahim has beaten off the rival bid to seal a deal and Storrie could not hide his disappointment.[LNB]"A meeting was scheduled for 8.30am, but Sacha called me and asked to reschedule for 12. I asked him if there was a problem, as my people were getting nervous and he said no," Storrie told radio station The Quay.[LNB]"I am very, very disappointed, but its Sacha's club, he decides."[LNB]Storrie admits he does not know whether he will be continuing in his own role at the club.[LNB]"My group is very unhappy," he said.[LNB]"I really don't know whether that it would be possible (to work with Al Fahim), but we just have to wait for everyone to calm down."[LNB]
