// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Peter Storrie has described rumours linking David James with a move away from Portsmouth in January as 'a load of rubbish'.[LNB] The Pompey goalkeeper was the subject of an enquiry from Tottenham in the summer with Carlo Cudicini reportedly offered in exchange.[LNB]However, former manager Harry Redknapp's advances were politely rejected despite James admitting he was unsettled on the South Coast as a result of the club's precarious financial position.[LNB]The 39-year-old was even linked with a shock move to Manchester United by some sections of the media on Tuesday, but Fratton Park chief executive Storrie has rubbished the claims.[LNB]"It's a load of rubbish, it really is," he told The News.[LNB]"David is under contract and it will be staying that way. He's happy and we are happy - David's going absolutely nowhere.[LNB]"We don't need to sell him and we have no interest in doing so. People should ignore these rumours, that's all they are."[LNB]
