It was a big shock and a big disappointment."[LNB]Despite the setback, Storrie claimed he wanted to remain in his current post.[LNB]He said: "I'm still chief executive of a football club and it's a club I feel very passionate about.[LNB]"I still want very much to be a part of Portsmouth Football Club.[LNB]"My interest in the whole of this was not to have two rival bids. My interest was to make sure Portsmouth Football Club was safe and at that time I could not see where Sulaiman was completing and where the funds were coming from to complete from Sulaiman.[LNB]"My priority was to make sure at least someone was available to put money in the club and that is what I did with this group so you can imagine they are pretty miffed at the moment - they are not happy.[LNB]"I think just the way the whole thing was done that has really irked everyone."[LNB]ResigningAsked if he considered resigning from his post in the wake of the events, Storrie said: "I did yesterday, yes. [LNB]"It's something you can never rule out as a possibility but I just want to see what the way forward is under this situation.[LNB]"I don't want to quit. To be quite frank I have put seven years hard work into this club and the last 12 months have been most draining of my life keeping this club afloat and I am quite proud of what I have done to keep it alive.[LNB]"I don't think many people could have done that and I would not like to see that go to waste.[LNB]"I would like to stay and continue and I have been working on players for the last few days.[LNB]"Sulaiman wants me to stay so I will see what he has to say and his group has to say over the weekend."[LNB]
