Chief executive Peter Storrie fears for Portsmouth's future unless a buyer for the club can be found before next season.[LNB]Fratton Park owner Sacha Gaydamak is looking to sell the club after struggling to cope with mounting debts, but a deal is yet to materialise.[LNB]The FA Cup holders were forced to sell Lassana Diarra and Jermain Defoe during the January transfer window in a bid to balance the books.[LNB]And while Storrie claims no more players need to be sold in the summer he admitted he has been working hard just to keep the club afloat.[LNB]Storrie, who is in talks with two consortiums interested in taking over, told a fans' forum: "If we do not get a new buyer by next season it does not bear thinking about.[LNB]"It has been a nightmare. From when Sacha told me he could not put any more money in and had to sell, we were really working on keeping the club going.[LNB]"We had £12.5million left to pay on transfer deals and had to sell players. We were operating on our income and it was not adding up.[LNB]"We are close to having balanced books now and we do not have to sell players this summer."[LNB]Storrie confirmed that Ramon Vega had expressed an interest in Portsmouth, but was left distinctly unimpressed by the former Tottenham defender.[LNB]The Pompey supremo said: "We laughed him out of the city. [LNB]"He wanted to pay £1 but would not take on the club's loans and said if Sacha Gaydamak wanted his loan money back he would have to sell players and take it from that.[LNB]"It would have been an unmitigated disaster."[LNB]
