Pompey's first away match of the season at Accrington Stanley's Crown Ground has been selected to be shown by Sky Sports.
The kick-off time has been moved forward to 12:15 which will mean that Portsmouth fans looking to do the long journey to Lancashire on Saturday, August 10th will have to get up even earlier for the trip or perhaps go up north the previous day and sample the delights of Accrington nightlife.
Sky has probably selected this match for TV because it's the typical "big club with fall from grace" vs "plucky minnow" story with the added ingredient of the home side being managed by one of Southampton's most successful strikers.
Let's hope we can win some of the watching public over with a good performance and more importantly win the match itself.
