Spurs outcast Zokora tipped to become Sevilla's answer to Madrid star Diarra

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Didier Zokora has been tipped for a summer switch to Sevilla by his former coach at White Hart Lane Marcos Alvarez. Alvarez was Juande Ramos' No 2 at both Sevilla and Tottenham before the Spanish boss was sacked in November. Alvarez believes the midfielder could have a similar impact in Spain to Lassana Diarra at Real Madrid, following his big-money switch from Portsmouth in January. Zokora is widely tipped to leave Tottenham this summer and is among a raft of players reportedly deemed surplus to requirements by manager Harry Redknapp. Alvarez said: 'Zokora is professional, experienced and hard-working in all areas on the pitch. If Sevilla are looking for a player like Lassana Diarra, he would fit the bill perfectly and would be within their means.'
