But are you going to get one? Pompey have announced their season ticket and matchday ticket prices for the 2010/2011 Championship season.Prices have been slashed from last year, with a drop of over £200 for some of the early bird deals which range from May 17th to June 21st (extended to June 27th for online purchases). In addition, matchday tickets for next season have been slashed from the original price of £38 for an adult down to £23, which is still £3 more expensive than the less glamourous games in the Premier League this season. Here are the ticket prices in full:Fratton End/South Stand/North Stand - AdultExisting early bird: £399 - £17.34 per matchNew early bird: £425 (09/10 price: £575) - £18.47 per match Final price: £449 (09/10 price: £650) - £19.52 per matchFratton End/South Stand/North Stand - Accompanied JuniorExisting early bird: £175 - £7.60 per matchNew early bird: £199 (09/10 price: £275) - £8.65 per matchFinal price: £215 (09/10 price: £350) - £9.34 per matchFratton End/South Stand/North Stand - Unaccompanied JuniorExisting early bird: £200 - £8.69 per matchNew early bird: £215 - £9.34 per matchFinal price: £230 - £10 per matchFratton End/South Stand/North Stand - Senior/Young PersonExisting early bird: £275 - £11.95 per matchNew early bird: £299 (09/10 price: £400) - £13 per matchFinal price: £325 (09/10 price: £450) - £14.13 per matchFamily Enclosure - AdultExisting early bird: £299 - £13 per matchNew early bird: £325 (09/10 price: £450) - £14.13 per matchFinal price: £349 (09/10 price: £500) - £15.17 per matchFamily Enclosure - Accompanied JuniorExisting early bird: £99 - £4.30 per matchNew early bird: £115 (09/19 price: £150) - £5 per matchFinal price: £130 (09/10 price: £175) - £5.65 per matchFamily Enclosure - Unaccompanied JuniorExisting early bird: £125 - £5.43 per matchNew early bird: £140 - £6.08 per matchFinal price: £155 - £6.73 per matchFamily Enclosure - Senior/Young PersonExisting early bird: £175 - £7.60 per matchNew early bird: £199 (09/10 price: £250) - £8.65 per matchFinal price: £225 (09/10 price: £300) - £9.78 per matchWheelchair DisabledExisting early bird: £120 - £5.21 per matchNew early bird: £145 (09/10 prices: £180) - £6.30 per matchFinal price: £160 (09/10 prices: £200) - £6.95 per matchSo, at just £17.30 a game for an adult who is an existing Fratton End season ticket holder, you'd have to say that this was very good value for a Championship side and I'd have already made the decision to renew if it wasn't for a couple of things.Firstly, Lucius Peart has assured all supporters that all money paid for season tickets will be held in a secure, seperate account that will ensure that fans will get their money back should the club fold. What I want to know is where this money goes if the club does still exist. Will it be used to pay off those local businesses and charities that so desperately need the money they're owed? Or are the fans going to have to continue to raise the funds personally for the people who deserve it the most because the money will be paid directly to Chainrai?I doubt that we'll ever get a truthful answer there after the disgraceful way that this club has been treated by its so-called "owners" this season.Of course, there might not be a club next season and if there is, it could be starting next season with a hefty points deduction. I think those who have decided to wait until mid-June to decide whether to renew have made a wise decision as we'll know if a CVA has been put in place and if we're any closer to new ownership. So, I think I'll be doing the same as I'm not sure if I could hand the current regime any more of my money.
