Ricardo Rocha believes Portsmouth's off-field troubles will not make new signings think twice about joining the club. The Portuguese defender is one of nine players contracted for next season, and boss Steve Cotterill will be looking for a host of new recruits in the summer. Pompey`s financial troubles have been well documented throughout the season but their short-term future now looks brighter and Rocha is confident Fratton Park will welcome some quality additions. "I have another year left on my contract but everybody knows that we will need some players coming in over the summer," the 32-year-old told The Portmouth News. "The gaffer knows that and we all know that. I don't think people will be scared off by what's happened at Portsmouth. The worst has passed now. We need to keep moving and think about the future. For sure, the future will be brilliant for the club and for us. "In England and not only in England, everybody knows about Portsmouth and what a fantastic club this is."
