Pompey shrugged off their recent dip in form by beating Swansea last Friday and lie five points off the top six ahead of this weekend's Fratton Park clash with Burnley.
"We got back in the groove with an important win at Swansea and now we have to keep that going in our next home match with Burnley on Saturday," said Rocha.
"The beginning of the season was certainly not easy and we have had a little rough patch but I think we're capable of putting a run together.
"We've virtually reached the halfway stage of the season where we've now played almost every other club in the division and that knowledge will be an asset to us.
"We know we will lose games along the way, of course, because that is football. But we believe the team can win games and reach the top six."
