Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is looking for a winger in the January transfer market to add more attacking options to his Fratton Park squad.
Redknapp has guided his side to fourth place in the Premiership this season, but feels that new additions in January are needed if Pompey are to remain in the hunt for a European spot.
He said: "I will identify a couple of names and take them to Alexandre Gaydamak and if we can do the deals, we will. But I haven't got any names yet.
"My priority is a wide player with pace who can go past people. We have not got anyone with that kind of penetration.
"I also need another defender, possibly a centre-half or a left-back.
"There a few names of players in France that have been put to me. A front man is a possibility.
"I'm happy with the four lads I've got if they are all fit, but they are not all fit at the moment."
