Rangers recruit Smith and Hulse

Championship leaders QPR have bolstered their attack by signing Tommy Smith from Portsmouth and Rob Hulse from Derby County.[LNB] Winger Smith, 30, passed a medical at Loftus Road on Tuesday and signed a three-year deal for a fee believed to be around £1.5million.[LNB]Rangers boss Neil Warnock has been desperate to add to his attacking options to boost his side's promotion bid and moved for Smith after failing to land Jon Walters.[LNB]Hulse, also 30, has put pen to paper on a three-year contract after the R's and the Rams agreed an undisclosed fee.[LNB]Derby have decided to cash in on Hulse with his contract due to expire at the end of this season.[LNB]Both deadline-day moves are subject to approval from the Football League.
