Primus set for new deal at Pompey

Portsmouth's veteran defender Linvoy Primus is set to be offered a new contract at Fratton Park. Pompey's longest-serving player is expected to be rewarded with an ambassadorial role combined with more limited playing responsibilities. The 35-year-old told BBC Radio Solent: "When this week and Wigan are out of the way, I'm sure we will announce something in the next few weeks."
