Veteran Portsmouth defender Linvoy Primus has been handed a new one-year contract despite missing the entire season through injury.
The long-serving 34-year-old has yet to return after knee surgery last summer but has been given another 12-month deal.
Primus had a clause in his contract which would have guaranteed another one-year deal had he made the required number of appearances.
"Linvoy has been a fantastic servant to this club, both on and off the field," said chief executive Peter Storrie.
"He deserves the opportunity to get fit and have a go next season."
Primus added: "I was at the training ground last week when Peter pulled me to one side and said that the club wanted to offer me another year.
"I'm so happy. I'm so pleased to have been given another year, so my first words were 'thank you'."
