Posh Game Pushed Forward

Pompey now go to Peterborough on Saturday, January 28th.

Pompey's match at Peterborough United has been moved forward to Saturday, January 28th and will now kick off at 3pm.

The two teams were scheduled to meet three days later on Tuesday, January 31st for an evening game. However, because both teams were knocked out of the FA Cup and had a free weekend when the fourth round tie would have been played, both clubs agreed to bring the match forward.

This move makes sense and I'm happy with the decision as it will mean that our players will have more time to recover before the next weekend when Hull visit Fratton Park and better yet, more Portsmouth fans can make the trip up to London Road, a ground Pompey haven't played at since 1997.
