As you were for Pompey

Portsmouth are set to be unchanged for the visit of Torquay.

Richie Barker's side battled to only their second win in 16 attempts by beating Wycombe 1-0 on Tuesday night.

New signing Ben Chorley was handed the captaincy on his debut and will continue at centre-half while winger Ricky Holmes (head) and striker Jed Wallace (hip) shook off knocks to make the bench.

Danny East (ankle), David Connolly (Achilles), Simon Ferry (back), Dan Butler and Tom Craddock (both knee) remain on the sidelines.

Torquay boss Chris Hargreaves could give striker Aiden O'Brien his debut.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who joined Torquay from Millwall on a one-month loan deal in midweek, could play some part against Pompey.

Meanwhile winger Danny Stevens re-joined the club on Thursday and is in contention to go straight into the matchday squad.

Teenage goalkeeper Conor Thompson is unavailable after leaving the club by mutual consent in the week.
