Portsmouth waiting on Amine Linganzi ahead of Crewe clash

Portsmouth could be without midfielder Amine Linganzi as they host Crewe at Fratton Park in League Two this Saturday.

The 27-year-old hobbled off with a groin injury during their 1-1 draw against Morecambe on Tuesday and will be assessed ahead of the game.

Striker Curtis Main remains a long-term absentee as he recovers from a knee injury which has kept him out since the end of October.

Conor Chaplin and Kal Naismith are both pushing for starts.

Crewe boss David Artell may make changes after the 4-0 defeat at Hartlepool in midweek.

However, with Jon Guthrie (hernia) and Danny Hollands (hamstring) out injured and Chris Dagnall suspended, he does not have many options available.

Midfielder Ryan Wintle and forward Charlie Kirk are most likely to be recalled should Artell change anything.

Their fellow teenagers Callum Ainley, Harry Pickering and Oliver Finney are also available as Alex look for a first away win since October.
