In a statement they also reveal HM Revenue and Customs had been paid £2 million and "other historical arrears are being dealt with on an ongoing basis." The club also stresses Peter Storrie would not be leaving his post as chief executive. [LNB]Dec 19: Beat Liverpool 2-0 at Fratton Park. [LNB]Dec 30: Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) issue a winding up petition against Portsmouth. Club say petition is in respect of "VAT, PAYE and national Insurance contributions which either have been, or are about to be paid, or are disputed". They outline their willingness to fight HMRC in the High Court. [LNB]Dec 31: Former owner Alexandre Gaydamak claims he is still owed £28 million by Portsmouth. [LNB]Dec 31: Confirmation that the players and staff have not been paid on time for the third time in four months. [LNB]
