Slovenian goalkeeper Darjan Curnaovic is to join Pompey, according to reports.
The 26-year-old currently plys his trade with Slovenian side Triglav Kranj but has told Sky Sports that "My dream's come true" and that he "could not hide his happiness" at joining Portsmouth.
Not much is known about Curanovic although there is a ten minute video package of him on youtube, which the player seems to have uploaded himself.
The club are yet to officially confirm the signing, so there may yet be a snag or two but it seems that Michael Appleton is close to recruiting his first new player for the season as the rebuilding job begins.
In other news, Ashley Harris has signed a new two-year deal with Pompey which suggests he will very much feature in the first team this season.
