Portsmouth ready to land Henri Camara on a free to boost their depleted attack

Portsmouth are set to unveil their latest signing - free agent Henri Camara. The Senegal striker is out of contract after leaving Wigan at the end of the season. Hull came close to signing Camara in the summer but Portsmouth are now set to land him on a one-year deal. Pompey boss Paul Hart lacks firepower up front after the departures of Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch this year, while David Nugent has also departed on loan. Frederic Piquionne and Aruna Dindane have been brought in but there is still room for Camara, who has spent time on loan at West Ham and Stoke.
