Portsmouth have signed Swansea winger David Cotterill on an emergency loan.

Manager Steve Cotterill has been hunting a left winger to bolster his paper-thin squad for the past few weeks but budget problems have forced him to wait.

Winger Cotterill, 23, can stay for the rest of the season although Swansea do have the option to recall him after 28 days.
