Veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen secures Mansfield draw at Portsmouth
Brian Jensen rolled back the years to earn Mansfield a 0-0 draw at League Two promotion favourites Portsmouth.
The veteran goalkeeper, 40, produced a stunning second-half save from defender Ben Davies to extend Pompey's winless home run to four matches.
Davies let fly from the left edge of the penalty area but Jensen somehow clawed the ball behind for a corner.
The hosts dominated possession but could not make that tell against a stubborn Stags side.
Kal Naismith should have put the former Premier League team in front in the 11th minute but headed over from a Davies corner.
Davies teed up Rommy Boco with a clever pull-back six minutes later but the midfielder blazed his shot into the stands from 12 yards.
It too until four minutes into the second half for Mansfield to muster their first meaningful attack as Adam Chapman put a long-range shot high over the crossbar.
Davies came close to finding the breakthrough with a 25-yard free kick which narrowly evaded the bottom corner.
