Pompey wait on Fernandes

Portsmouth hope to tie up the permanent signing of Portugal international Manuel Fernandes later this month.
The 20-year-old Benfica midfielder moved to Fratton Park on loan at the end of August but injuries have restricted him to only two appearances for Harry Redknapp's side so far this term.
However, reports suggest Manchester United are keen to sign Fernandes prompting Pompey to firm up their interest in the player.
Chief executive Peter Storrie told Ojogo: "We are waiting but the player is already adapted to playing in the Premier League.
"We will wait to see him play in one or another game in the league.
"Perhaps after this happens, inside one or two weeks, we will place a contract on the table."
