Pompey snap up Johnson

Portsmouth have wrapped up the £3million capture of Glen Johnson from Chelsea, with the England defender penning a four-year contract at Fratton Park
The 23-year-old right-back spent most of last season on loan with Pompey and was happy to make the move permanent, after being frustrated by his limited opportunities at Stamford Bridge.
Johnson told his new club's official website: "It's a good move for me.
"The fact I played here last season was a massive factor in my decision. I knew what the club was like and (manager) Harry Redknapp was a massive factor too.
"I had to think about the move a bit, it's nice to have interest from other clubs. But deep down I knew where I wanted to go, especially after the success we enjoyed last season.
"I just want to play as many games as I can here. I think the squad we've got here now is stronger than the one when I left.
"Harry's got a few new faces in and it's looking good."
Johnson joined Chelsea for £6million from West Ham United in the summer of 2003, but failed to secure a regular first-team berth for Jose Mourinho's side.
