Portsmouth duo Lomana LuaLua and Rudolphe Douala are both considering their futures at Fratton Park.
Flying winger Douala has made just two appearances as a substitute since his arrival from Sporting Lisbon and is clearly unhappy with his lack of playing time for Pompey.
He told Portuguese newspaper A Bola: "If this doesn't change, in January I have to rethink my life. I have much more possibilities in France."
Twenty-eight-year-old Douala is reportedly a target for Auxerre.
For his part LuaLua has been upset at criticism of his recent performances, following a difficult time off the field for the striker.
He told The Sun: "I read newspapers and internet message boards and a lot of what has been said about me has deeply affected me.
"I do not deserve that. I love playing for Pompey, but when my own fans have a go at me, maybe it is time to move on and go to somewhere where I will be appreciated."
Meanwhile, seven-goal star Nwankwo Kanu has admitted that he would like to return to Ajax to finish his career.
The 30-year-old striker has made a superb start to life at Fratton Park, but is keen to end his playing days back at the club where he started his European career.
