Pompey Court Hearing Adjourned
Case to resume at 2pm tomorrow.
As expected, the court case to settle the issue of the sale of Fratton Park has been adjourned and the hearing will resume at 2pm tomorrow.
PKF and Portpin had been in discussions to postpone the case for 28 days due to a "change in terms" of the deal to buy Fratton Park which relate to REL Ltd, a company of property developer Stuart Robinson.
PKF have kept quiet about what exactly this "change in terms" is, whilst people representing Portpin have been quick to let the national media know their side of the story, suggesting that PKF's case will fall through and that they are in a position to "rescue" the club with the help of administrator Brendan Guilfoyle.
The simple truth is that amongst all the speculation, only a select few people know what is really going on and that discussions between PKF and Portpin continue outside of court with tomorrow's hearing on the horizon.
A decision on Fratton Park's future is likely to be made tomorrow but another adjournment cannot be ruled out. If that is the case, you wonder what effect this latest twist in the saga will have on the immediate future of Portsmouth FC both on and off the pitch.
