Pompey wait on Mokoena

Portsmouth will check on captain Aaron Mokoena ahead of the trip to Sheffield United. The South Africa midfielder missed Tuesday night's 4-1 defeat at Crystal Palace with a leg injury but does not expect to be on the sidelines for too long. Striker David Nugent suffered a leg knock during the first half at Selhurst Park but managed to get through the full 90 minutes and is expected to be fit. Fellow forward Danny Webber remains on the sidelines but is set to return to action next month after recovering from a serious knee injury. Webber ruptured his cruciate ligament during Pompey's 2-0 Premier League defeat at Tottenham in March. Hermann Hreidarsson (Achilles), Tom Kilbey (knee) and Billy Goddard (shin) are still out.
