Portsmouth believe midfielder Sean Davis will wait until the end of the season before deciding whether to sign a new contract.[LNB]Davis' current deal expires in the summer and he has been offered a three-year extension to stay at Fratton Park.[LNB]He was a target for Celtic during the close season and was also the subject of a failed bid from Bolton during the January transfer window.[LNB]The former Fulham man recently revealed he wanted to stay at Pompey and was upset that his contract situation had not been resolved.[LNB]However, executive chairman Peter Storrie says Davis has been offered fresh terms, but is keeping his options open.[LNB]"Sean has been offered a three-year contract," said Storrie in the Daily Mirror. "We made a very good offer and actually improved it.[LNB]"But I think he just wants to wait and keep his options open until the end of the season.[LNB]"We would like him to stay, but it is in his hands now."[LNB]
