Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie has dismissed reports Avram Grant will be appointed manager in the summer.[LNB] A report on Sunday claimed former Chelsea boss Grant would be offered the manager's job at Fratton Park at the end of the season.[LNB]Youth team manager Paul Hart is currently in caretaker charge and along with his assistant Brian Kidd has guided the club to safety, away from the wrong end of the table.[LNB]Storrie has rubbished the rumours and has praised Hart and Kidd for the job they have done at the club.[LNB]"Avram is a good friend of the club but to suggest he will be returning to Fratton Park is totally untrue. There have been absolutely no discussions with Avram," Storrie told the club's website. [LNB]"Had the Sunday newspaper checked with the club, we would have told them so.[LNB]"Paul and Brian have done a tremendous job. They came in at a time when we had gained only two points from nine games and were heading towards the bottom three. [LNB]"They have more than steadied the ship and we have once again become a team that is very difficult to beat."[LNB]
