Pompey reject £2m Wilson bid
Portsmouth have rejected a £2million bid from West Brom for captain Marc Wilson.[LNB] Manager Steve Cotterill has reiterated his determination to hang onto the 22-year-old midfielder despite the cash problems at Fratton Park.[LNB]"To be honest we would not want to sell Marc Wilson," Cotterill told The News.[LNB]"There is no way, absolutely no way we want Marc Wilson to leave.[LNB]"I think he is going to be a great player, a massive player and I want to work with him here.[LNB]"I am surprised at the bid, it's an unwelcome distraction."[LNB]
