Portsmouth pair John Utaka and Steve Finnan are open to staying with the relegated club for the upcoming Championship campaign.[LNB] Pompey have had a troubled season in the Premier League and a poor run of form coupled with a points deduction for entering administration has seen them finish bottom of the top-flight.[LNB]Huge financial problems will make it difficult to bounce back at the first time of asking, although the South Coast outfit do have the FA Cup final with Chelsea to look forward to later this month.[LNB]Utaka hopes his goal against Wolves at the weekend will convince manager Avram Grant to give him a starting place at Wembley, and he is also open to remaining at Fratton Park next term.[LNB]"It is not up to me to say whether I have done enough to play in the FA Cup Final. It is up to the manager to decide," he said.[LNB]"But yes, it would be nice if Avram and I were still here at the club next season." [LNB]Defender Finnan admits he has not received any new contract offer from Pompey just yet, but says he is open to playing in the Championship.[LNB]He remarked: "For me it's year-to-year and I'll see what happens in the summer, but some of the younger lads have been thinking about it already. [LNB]"To be honest, I don't think anyone has been offered anything yet at the club. [LNB]"If they come to me, I'll listen to what they have to say, but there's so much going on here at the moment that it will probably all happen at the end of the season. [LNB]"I'm not worried about playing in the Championship, although of course ideally everyone would want to stay in the Premier League."
