In demand:  Durica is wanted by Pompey and Fulham Portsmouth look set to beat Fulham in a bid to sign Slovakia defender Jan Durica. Craven Cottage boss Roy Hodgson is thought to have lined up the Lokomotiv Moscow centre-half in the event of a deadline-day raid by Arsenal for Brede Hangeland. But, with Panathinaikos also interested, Pompey have made their move and hope to do a deal that would see Durica initially sign on loan. The 27-year-old was on Celtic's radar before he signed for Lokomotiv in  January, but he has been unable to secure regular first-team football at his  new club.
